All I Need Is A Home

Page Under Construction – New Video coming late Summer/Autumn!

ALL I NEED IS A HOME  –   homelessness can happen to anyone.

I was homeless on the streets of London as a lad, until I got a job in a band who had a basement flat. Those days came back to me over the years, in times of needing a home to live. The cry of the homeless now rings loud in my ears as I take my music into prisons, which I’ve been doing for over 30 years. 15% of prisoners encountered homelessness immediately before coming to prison, and will leave to go back on the streets again, unable to get a job or benefits as they have no home. On my new CD Ready Or Not, I re-recorded All I Need Is A Home, which I first recorded on my 1974 Island Records album Let The Days Go By. I hope the song and the video (to be released summer 2023) will add to the rising tide of voices, and the groundswell will bring a change of public opinion and action. #letsendhomelessness #allineedisahome
